With Lodestar, Professor Lauber was able to quickly generate a Flash practice quiz presentation for her BIO 2010 students. The quiz consists of different slides with a photo and question. Students respond to a question pertaining to a particular microorganism and get immediate feedback. Since the live microorganisms are only alive for a week, with the Internet Flash interactive activity, students can access the microbiology review quiz anytime they want.

I find LodeStar to be an innovative, exciting tool for educators at all levels. Its impact on educational technology is far-reaching. My students are engaged with the interactive nature of each of lodeStar's resources. Lodestar has been a wonderful tool for the creation and implementation of learning resource modules.
